How AI connects to the systems a Canadian business already runs, and the integration choices involved.

AI delivers most value when it connects to the systems you already run — your CRM, documents, ticketing and databases. Here is how integration works and what to plan for.

Why integration matters

AI that is isolated from your systems is a toy; AI connected to your real data and tools is useful. Integration is where the work — and much of the value — actually is.

How it is done

Connect through APIs and connectors to your data sources and tools, with access controls so AI only sees what it should. Start with the few systems your first use case needs, not everything.

Doing it safely

Integration touches real data, so apply PIPEDA and Law 25, control access, and decide residency. osFoundry is a model-agnostic, bring-your-own-key (BYOK) AI orchestration platform — usage-based pricing with no per-seat fees, local-first and self-hostable, with per-region data pinning (US/EU/JP) or deployment into your own cloud. ships with a connector library and supports custom integration. osFoundry’s managed cloud pins data to US, EU or Japan — it does not currently offer a Canadian managed region. For data that must stay in Canada, the honest path is self-hosting osFoundry (BYO Cloud) inside a Canadian cloud region such as AWS Canada (Montréal/Calgary), Azure (Toronto/Quebec City) or Google Cloud (Montréal), or running models locally on-device.

Where dgm fits

dgm is an independent integration partner that helps Canadian businesses adopt osFoundry — scoping a first use case, handling the build, and connecting AI to the systems you already run. dgm is independent of osFoundry’s maker (OS LLC) and has no completed client integrations yet, so everything described here is a service offered, not a past result. If you want to scope a practical first project, dgm can help you map it out.
